The malware embedded in a host of applications has been making their phone is vulnerable to unknown viruses.

The F-Secure pointed out that there is a malware camouflage to be antivirus with a number of malicious applications in the form of clock widget, which is widely used by Android users to customize their phone’s screen. Moreover, The PC Mag pointed out that the fake apps alleged to have attacked the genuine antivirus on the Android phone with the way stopping its virus-scanning feature. This malware type is also capable to steal user’s data.

The working of this malware app is simply cheating, when you accidentally installed /embedded to your Android phone, then you will see some application shortcuts of mobile 360Antivirus, update system, and China QQ Instant Messaging. If you tap one of those shortcuts then the malware is going to start stealing your information data, such as phonebook, SMS Data, call log, photos, GPS location and much more.

In addition, one thing to look out for is the malware will take over the performance mobile security app on your phone for requesting “root access” of your database, so that it allowing original antivirus is unable to detect the existence of such malware.

Therefore, keep your eyes open, and be careful in installing of any app you wanted. Android is indeed vulnerable to malware attacks.

TECHNOLOGY NEWS

Samsung has put out an invitation entitled "Samsung unPacked 5", which it will be held on February 24, 2014 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. At the Congress, Samsung will introduce its latest smartphone, Galaxy S5.

Galaxy S5  smartphones will be a big expectation for the Samsung as a form of breakthrough to master the smartphone market after previously had disappointed over the bad sales of Galaxy S4 and tough competition with Apple.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone is rumored to have a larger screen size and rear camera as well as equipped a fingerprint scanner technology. A new leakage circulating on SamMobile.com, which revealed the Galaxy S5 interface is designed in the "flat" style interface with the plain and simple colors. While some argue that the look of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is similar to what Apple has applied to its iOS7. But, it cannot be said that the Samsung mimic Apple, because the flat style of smartphone is the current trend.

In addition, reportedly the latest smartphone from Samsung is offered in two versions; the SM-G900H and SM-G900R4. Both versions were revealed from the leakage of benchmark results at AnTuTu database.

To distinguish one of these two versions with the naked eye is only on the SM-G900R4 which is identical to the camera and the Android version.

Rumors about the specs of the Galaxy S5 versions looks deeper, though the truth of leakage of current screenshots is still in doubt.

Dong Nguyen will shutdown Flappy Bird

TECHNOLOGY NEWS - Flappy Bird, a game that was very popular at this time does not seem to be able to be played by its users. A report from Mashable says that Dong Nguyen, the creator of the game "Flappy Bird" will immediately revoke the Flappy Bird from the App Store and Google Play. It was revealed from a statement recently on his tweet on Twitter, who showed his frustration due to getting so much pressure after the Flappy Bird into a game that has been a high popularity.

Starting from today or tomorrow, Flappy Bird will disappear from its users. Although it has spawned a puzzle – some opinions say that the "Flappy Bird" is simply a tool for fishing the fans to download another Nguyen’s game.

Moreover, 5 February ago, Nguyen had complained about the popularity of Flappy Bird as you can see on his tweet below.

Since its introduction in March 2013, Flappy Bird has become an addictive game, which is popular for users of iOS and Android. Although there have been many previous predictions, which mentions that the game will not gain a longtime popularity.

Whereas Flappy Bird planned to be launched on Windows Phone lately, and the possibility of delayed due to this moment Nguyen was having problems in his self. Nguyen also apologized to the users of Windows Phone.

Nguyen denied rumors that assume that his reason to shutdown Flappy Bird was related to legal issues. However, he would not explain the real reason why the Flappy Bird must be shutdown from its release. He simply asserts that he doesn't sell the game, that's it.

He admitted that Flappy Bird was his favorite game, though in the end he hated it. Well, Nguyen apparently is the type of person who is upholding the peace than money.

From the success of Flappy Bird, Nguyen has earned a profit of about $ 50 thousand per day, and the next few days he still get the profits, although the Flappy Bird has been in shutdown.

A new report: a fingerprint scanner will be installed on Samsung Galaxy S5

TECHNOLOGY NEWS - Rumors about the eyes scanner feature that will be included on the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone has been blown away by the new report stating that Samsung would replace it with a fingerprint scanner. The new report was coming from The Korea Herald.

"Among the different types of biometric sensors that Samsung is testing for its Galaxy S5, the tech giant will go for fingerprint authentication rather than unintuitive user experience of iris recognition."  quoted from unnamed sources. While Samsung's own party has yet to give any response about the report through its official announcement.

The new report might be true, considering the Apple iPhone 5S and HTC One Max have come up with a fingerprint scanner. While LG is also currently reported to be preparing a fingerprint scanner feature for its LG G3 smartphone, which is planned to be released this year.

In addition, Sambon Precision and Electronics Co & Biometric companies IriTech Inc., both denied the rumors about a partnership with Samsung for eyes scanner installation on Galaxy S5.

Well, based on all the facts; Samsung seems to be placing the fingerprint scanner technology in its Galaxy S5, so that it can compete in the market of smartphones with a fingerprint scanner. If not, then the Galaxy S5 may stand alone with its eye scanner technology without an obvious market. It could be Samsung doesn't want to take the risk of market losses if Galaxy S5 keep using the eyes scanning feature.

By looking at the popularity of the Apple iPhone 5S  on the market, then Samsung will probably assign fingerprint scanner feature for its Galaxy S5. In addition, the fingerprint scanner technology looks easier and practical usage compared to the eyes scanner.

So, let's wait for the official news from Samsung about its Galaxy S5. Which of the scanners to be installed on Galaxy S5?

Google introduced its smart contact lens project

TECH & HEALTH NEWS - Based on the findings of scientists showed that glucose levels can be known through the tears, Google seems to start giving its concern on health issues, especially for diabetics. It can be seen from an announcement that comes from Google's official blog that mentions a new breakthrough project  for checking blood sugar levels in tears. Yes, a smart contact lens project has been introduced by Google, which serves to measure the glucose levels of diabetics.

The contact lenses fitted using a tiny wireless chip and glucose sensor, and it is able to perform a one-time scanning blood sugar per second. Google is confident that its smart contact lens project will facilitate the diabetics in controlling their blood sugar, because many experts and parties related has been involved in creating this smart contact lens that are intended for diabetics.

Google is also trying to cooperate with the FDA and several food associations so that its contact lens product can be marketed immediately.

Although the contact lens is still in the form of the initial design, but it's been a lot of people who support it because it is regarded as a remarkable breakthrough in the field of health and just Google that can make it happen.

However, few people expect much more than that. They argued that the contact lens should be able to do more, not only serves as a reminder of the blood sugar levels of its users. Although they didn't say specifically about what they expect.

Whatever the results later, it deserves respect as a form of Google's concern on the issue of the diabetics. At least it can make users off from the routine blood tests are somewhat painful.

Currently, Google and the team were trying to put up a tiny LED lamp that serves as an alarm when blood sugar levels exceed the recommended limits.

Lumia 1520 sold out in India, Nokia says "it's unpredictable"

Nokia Lumia 1520
TECHNOLOGY NEWS - Nokia seems to be getting so much fresh breeze from India. This is due to its Lumia 1520 is very popular in such country until sold out, and of course Nokia is so happy about it and never unpredictable before.

Currently, Lumia 1520 is the most wanted phablet in India. Even, Nokia's web store has run out of stock, due to high demand for Lumia 1520 in India. Nokia itself has yet to deliver the report, about when the new stocks of this phablet will arrive in India, most likely the buyers must wait until January of this year.

Although Lumia 1520 is a phablet, which is quite expensive, it looks like the gadget lovers in India not disputed it, considering the specifications offered by Lumia 1520 are worth enough to be purchased.

To see the specs of Lumia 1520. Click here (from: gsmarena.com)

The same thing also happens to Lumia 1020, which sold out in India at a time when it was first launched on the market some time ago. India has been the best market for Nokia for some its Lumia versions, and all it has happened outside the predictions of the Nokia.

However, despite its success in India, hence the possibility of Nokia will add more stocks for the next Lumia latest version, especially India.  And it can also become a study for the company, how Lumia 1520 could be very successful in India, without being predictable.

After experiencing a lot of adversity lately, at least Nokia has still a chance to survive in an increasingly tight market competitive. In my opinion, Nokia often makes mistakes in predicting the market for its products.

Therefore, the accurate prediction of the market is necessary to anticipate the situation out of control. Nokia seems unprepared in the face of the success of its Lumia 1520 in India, as the company says that it is unpredictable.

A Bank's Policy Makes Bitcoin Has Nightmares

TECHNOLOGY NEWS - It's about what we never thought and it’s a Bitcoin’s nightmare.  Baidu as one of the giants of the internet and known as "Google of Chinese", has made a decision to stop any payment transaction through the service of Bitcoin. Not just Baidu, Telecom a China's service provider is also doing the same thing.

This is due to a new policy of the People's Bank of China, which forbids any payments through the Bitcoin, especially for banks.

Of course, this gives a bad impact on the exchange rate of the Bitcoin. According to Coindesk, these policies lead to Bitcoin's exchange rate became plummeted, which previously were in the range $ 1,147 to $ 679,43 for each Bitcoin.

People's Bank of China reasoned that the virtual currency can become a serious threat to the financial system and can interfere with normal monetary policy, and circulation of Bitcoin's currencies is very wild and unruly. So it has a slit for a crime such as money laundering.

“Baidu’s website-acceleration platform decided to suspend Bitcoin payment acceptance from Friday as recent large fluctuations in Bitcoin’s value makes it unable to safeguard users’ interests,” Baidu said.

Until recently, the price of Bitcoin continues to decline. I don't know what will happen next if viewed on a bad impact of these policies, which have been officially declared by the people's Bank of China.
