Facebook Reader Is Not a Successor to Google Reader

Facebook Reader
Webpostline.com - Facebook is making a new kind of reader tool. As the aim to help the users to get access to news quickly and easily. However, according to TechCrunch reports, Facebook Reader is not based on the RSS and not as a successor to Google Reader.

Google Reader itselfwas dying because the next five days closed. Many other sites offer the similar services as AOL will release the AOL Reader which is still in beta. Facebook also believed to soon release a similar tool.

Seemed to take advantage of the situation ahead of the loss of Google Reader  application, there are rumors that Facebook will release a reader application. Facebook itself declined to comment and provide detailed information. But there is other news that they were preparing an application like Flipboard.

According to a source close to Facebook at the center of information from TechCrunch, Facebook is preparing reader service but not based on RSS. It's like any other similar service such as Digg, Feedly, NewsBlur, zite, and the last is AOL Reader. Those Services were present to cover the holes left by Google Reader.

So, what is kind of the service? Still according to those sources, they refer Facebook Reader as the next evolution of the Facebook News Feed. Most likely Facebook would overhaul the existing display of news feeds for allowing the users browse the content (news) more easily and quickly.

Facebook itself has developed this feature is quite long. This means that they have started to prepare the service was much earlier to take advantage of a particular moment. For example, when Google announced will shut down the Google Reader service.
