Microsoft and Google Together on YouTube App for Windows Phone

Webpostline.com - The conflict between these two technology giants, Google and Microsoft regarding YouTube streaming video application for Windows Phone eventually see the deal. Microsoft and Google decide to work together to develop applications for the Windows Phone YouTube.

As we know, the Windows Phone platform does not receive rations-related apps from Google's official YouTube and blocking access API (Application Programming Interface) from Microsoft. This makes Microsoft moved to develop and launch its own YouTube app in the Windows Store.


YouTube launching applications made by Microsoft in Windows Phone has received a letter of protest from Google that essentially ordered Microsoft to withdraw or remodel YouTube application created by Microsoft to date May 22, 2013.

This protest conducted by Google, due to Microsoft's YouTube application has the ability to download video and block the ads that appear. On May 22, Microsoft performed updates Windows Phone applications and blocking the ability to download applications as desired Google.

However, eventually Microsoft and Google as the owner of YouTube decided to work together to bring the YouTube app for the Windows Phone platform. This decision also marks the conflict associated with the presence of the YouTube app on Windows Phone.

"Microsoft and YouTube are working together to update the new YouTube for Windows Phone app to enable compliance with YouTube’s API terms of service, including enabling ads, in the coming weeks. Microsoft will replace the existing YouTube app in Windows Phone Store with the previous version during this time."
