A journal is dated July 2, 2013 published by Physiology and Behavior, two experiments were conducted by nutritional scientists were involved about 25 participants in separated group for routinely took breakfast or skipped breakfast to observe which one habit would affect to the weight.

The experiment results have discovered that participants with no breakfast were seemed hungrier at lunch and their calorie intake increased over 140 calories. But, the last times of the day; they ate on average 400 calories or less, than participants with breakfast.

Cahill, Ph.D., study lead author and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Mass.

Eric Rimm, Sc.D.
"If someone is trying to lose weight, then skipping a few meals (lunch may be better than breakfast) occasionally might not be a bad idea for part of a weight loss plan," said Rimm. "But it is much more likely that more sensible eating patterns combined with exercise would be a better long term solution."

For 16 years his study has tracked about 27,000 people, while the study of Cornell University observed the some college students who skipped breakfast a few weeks.
