Malware Camouflage Attack Android OS

TECHNOLOGY NEWS - Malware attack to Android OS looks stronger day by day. It has should be realized, that most of the users do not know their android phone was been getting infected by the viruses. The malware embedded in a host of applications has been making their phone is vulnerable to unknown viruses.

The F-Secure pointed out that there is a malware camouflage to be antivirus with a number of malicious applications in the form of clock widget, which is widely used by Android users to customize their phone’s screen. Moreover, The PC Mag pointed out that the fake apps alleged to have attacked the genuine antivirus on the Android phone with the way stopping its virus-scanning feature. This malware type is also capable to steal user’s data.

The working of this malware app is simply cheating, when you accidentally installed /embedded to your Android phone, then you will see some application shortcuts of mobile 360Antivirus, update system, and China QQ Instant Messaging. If you tap one of those shortcuts then the malware is going to start stealing your information data, such as phonebook, SMS Data, call log, photos, GPS location and much more.

In addition, one thing to look out for is the malware will take over the performance mobile security app on your phone for requesting “root access” of your database, so that it allowing original antivirus is unable to detect the existence of such malware.

Therefore, keep your eyes open, and be careful in installing of any app you wanted. Android is indeed vulnerable to malware attacks.

Samsung has put out an invitation entitled "Samsung unPacked 5", which it will be held on February 24, 2014 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. At the Congress, Samsung will introduce its latest smartphone, Galaxy S5.

Galaxy S5  smartphones will be a big expectation for the Samsung as a form of breakthrough to master the smartphone market after previously had disappointed over the bad sales of Galaxy S4 and tough competition with Apple.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone is rumored to have a larger screen size and rear camera as well as equipped a fingerprint scanner technology. A new leakage circulating on SamMobile.com, which revealed the Galaxy S5 interface is designed in the "flat" style interface with the plain and simple colors. While some argue that the look of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is similar to what Apple has applied to its iOS7. But, it cannot be said that the Samsung mimic Apple, because the flat style of smartphone is the current trend.

In addition, reportedly the latest smartphone from Samsung is offered in two versions; the SM-G900H and SM-G900R4. Both versions were revealed from the leakage of benchmark results at AnTuTu database.

To distinguish one of these two versions with the naked eye is only on the SM-G900R4 which is identical to the camera and the Android version.

Rumors about the specs of the Galaxy S5 versions looks deeper, though the truth of leakage of current screenshots is still in doubt.

Dong Nguyen will shutdown Flappy Bird


TECHNOLOGY NEWS - Flappy Bird, a game that was very popular at this time does not seem to be able to be played by its users. A report from Mashable says that Dong Nguyen, the creator of the game "Flappy Bird" will immediately revoke the Flappy Bird from the App Store and Google Play. It was revealed from a statement recently on his tweet on Twitter, who showed his frustration due to getting so much pressure after the Flappy Bird into a game that has been a high popularity.


Starting from today or tomorrow, Flappy Bird will disappear from its users. Although it has spawned a puzzle – some opinions say that the "Flappy Bird" is simply a tool for fishing the fans to download another Nguyen’s game.

Moreover, 5 February ago, Nguyen had complained about the popularity of Flappy Bird as you can see on his tweet below.


Since its introduction in March 2013, Flappy Bird has become an addictive game, which is popular for users of iOS and Android. Although there have been many previous predictions, which mentions that the game will not gain a longtime popularity.

Whereas Flappy Bird planned to be launched on Windows Phone lately, and the possibility of delayed due to this moment Nguyen was having problems in his self. Nguyen also apologized to the users of Windows Phone.

Nguyen denied rumors that assume that his reason to shutdown Flappy Bird was related to legal issues. However, he would not explain the real reason why the Flappy Bird must be shutdown from its release. He simply asserts that he doesn't sell the game, that's it.

He admitted that Flappy Bird was his favorite game, though in the end he hated it. Well, Nguyen apparently is the type of person who is upholding the peace than money.

From the success of Flappy Bird, Nguyen has earned a profit of about $ 50 thousand per day, and the next few days he still get the profits, although the Flappy Bird has been in shutdown.
